• The No Drill Butt Stock Cover and Sling is designed for lever action rifles with a straight comb stock, that do not already have a swivel post for attaching a sling. Although, we do have patterns for many other types of rifles (and shotguns) as well. This No Drill solution also provides the extra functionality, coverage, and style of a butt stock cover. Now you can add a sling mount to your rifle without drilling that beautiful stock!

  If your rifle does not have an ammo tube, you may need to find a 3rd party mounting solution for the front sling mount, but our kits will still work on the stock end for attachment of the included sling.

  The No Drill Butt Stock Cover and Sling is made to fit specific rifle models. The leather laces allow for the perfect fit as well as remaining adjustable for slight variances in stock shapes. The front attaches to the integrated sling via a specifically sized clamp for the ammo tube or barrel, meaning it's a truly a secure installation with no drilling required on either end. The 1" Leather Sling Strap has multiple adjustment holes and includes 2 Grovtec Swivels in black oxide steel for attachment to the cover and clamp.

  If you've added a scope or optic to your rifle, you can choose to compensate sight alignment by adding the optional Cheek Riser. The Cheek Riser allows you to keep the crucial cheek-to-stock bond with the stock when using optics, keeping your shots accurate.

  Your choice of either 1" or 1.5" cheek riser makes sure that no matter what size optic your rifle has, you'll have the optimum sight line naturally when raising your rifle to fire. The foam filled Cheek Riser allows solid contact, with optimal comfort. We've found that the 1" Cheek Riser is the standard size for most applications. The 1.5" Cheek Riser is usually chosen for scopes with larger bell housings or tall optic mounts.

  Optional pocket and/or ammo loops makes the cover even more functional...or you can keep it plain if you'd like. Pockets and/or Ammo Loops are attached on your "handed" side, opposite your cheek. So if you're right-handed, the accessories would be on the right side of your stock, away from your face.

  The included 1" Leather Sling strap has multiple adjustment holes and includes 2 Swivels in black oxide steel for attaching the Sling strap to your new mounting points.

  There are 3 choices of leather color to choose from and metal hardware is available in 3 finishes.

  On the 1" Sling strap, you have an option of adding an accessory directly to the Sling strap, such as an Ammo Carrier, Plain Padded Shoulder Pad, or Padded Shoulder Pad WITH Ammo Loops. These options can add comfort, and/or the peace of mind that comes with having a reload handy.
