Ammo Carrier for 1" Sling
For Rifles with Our 1" Rifle Sling
Handcrafted by Fiddleback Outpost in Georgia, USA
-
The Ammo Carrier for the 1" Leather Rifle Sling adds the functionality of extra ammo for your hunt, or next Cowboy Shoot range visit.
Ammo Loops are hand-formed using live ammunition to ensure the perfect fit for your caliber. We support calibers from .17 HMR rimfire cartridges to 45-70 centerfire cartridges. All straight-wall pistol cartridges are also available.
The Ammo Carrier (aka Bandolier) floats freely on any 1" rifle sling, allowing infinite adjustment along the length of your rifle sling. The 1" Rifle Sling is not included with the Ammo Carrier in case you already have one, but you can add the 1" Rifle Sling to your order to complete the perfect setup.
Since the Ammo Carrier can be moved along the Sling strap, it can be used in multiple positions. This allows you to use it solely for carrying Ammo, or you can use it high on the strap to rest on the shoulder, in order to widen the footprint of the strap for added comfort. It is not padded, nor designed specifically as a shoulder pad, but given the 2.125" width, it can spread the weight more broadly than the 1" Sling strap. If more comfort is needed, we have an alternative that is both wider and padded in the Sling Shoulder Pad with Ammo Loops. You could also add multiple Ammo Carriers to a single 1" Sling strap, or run an Ammo Carrier in conjunction with a Sling Shoulder Pad.
The OPTIONAL 1" Leather Rifle Sling has 3 adjustment holes and includes 2 Swivels in black oxide steel for attaching the Sling strap to your rifle's swivel studs.
There are 3 choices of leather color to choose from and metal hardware is available in 3 finishes.

Shipping Times: Fiddleback Outpost Leather products are made to order, but will typically ship within 2 weeks. Carrier times should be added to that figure to estimate total delivery time. If there's an exception, we will contact you directly.
Leather Color: Due to the way leather absorbs dye and sealant, each product's color will vary slightly.
Photos: Photos are copyrighted and should NOT be used without our expressed written permission.
Accessories pictured with the our leather products are not included unless expressly stated. We do not sell firearms or ammunition, and they are also (obviously) NOT included.
Each Fiddleback Outpost made leather product is handmade to the highest standards of craftsmanship. We use high quality, veg-tanned leather from North American cattle, sourced from one of the oldest tanneries in the USA. Our leather is full grain which means that the fibers of the leather are tight and uniform, with the strongest layer of the leather intact. The leather is drum-dyed at the tannery for a deep and consistent color. The finished product has sealer applied by hand, setting the dye and offering some water resistance (leather is never waterproof).
