The Diomedes Removable Dangler is designed to give your Diomedes Traditional or Diomedes Trekker sheath more flexibility. By adding a Dangler to your sheath, you get an extended drop at the hip for your sheath. This makes purchasing your knife from the sheath easier when wearing a jacket, untucked shirt, or backpack with a waist strap. It also allows more movement when seated alleviating issues with binding when sitting...especially when entering and exiting vehicles. This can also let your knife and sheath hang more predictably vertical when stooping, squatting, or climbing...reducing the chances of your knife exiting your sheath unintentionally!
The dangler hardware is nickel plated for longevity. The dangler attaches to your sheath's belt loop using a threaded screw that is easy to remove, while providing extra reliability over spring loaded models since it is less likely to "unclip" itself unknowingly. Your knife is the one tool that you cannot stand to lose!
