Fiddleback Forge Carver Knife - Box Elder Burl
The Fiddleback Forge Carver is made to do one thing well, crochet...just kidding...it's to work with wood of course! The long handle and specially-shaped blade are great for getting leverage and control. Whether you're feathersticking, notching or just whittling by the fire...this knife will get a ton of use. We've heard it also cuts a mean apple when needing a snack on a hike.
This Carver's unique handle is fabricated from Box Elder Burl with Natural Liners and White Pinstripes. The Box Elder Burl has great detail, making it as beautiful to look at as it is comfortable to hold.
This Carver has a blade length of 2.375 inches and a handle length of 4.5 inches, with a skeletonized tang for weight reduction and a convex grind. The blade is spalted and made from 3/32" A2 steel.
We recommend the Diomedes APS R.I.P. Earl ambidextrous pocket sheath for the Fiddleback Forge Carver.
